Outside NYC Courthouse, 100 Center St.
Tuesday August 30th
As people have likely heard, the District Attorney of NYC allowed thecharges against former head of the International Monetary Fund, DominiqueStrauss-Kahn (DSK) to be dropped last week.
But Nafissatou Diallo is filing an appeal against this dismissal. Diallo, despite everything she has been through, is continuing to push forward withher story. We will stand squarely on her side and do everything we can toexpose the racism and sexism that has pervaded every aspect of this case.
Since these charges have been pressed, another hotel worker in France hasalso come forward as having been assaulted by DSK. In addition, a number ofwomen have contacted Diallo’s lawyers with stories of inappropriate andaggressive run-ins with the accused attacker.
Protest and outrage around such a high profile case are important andhistorically can have a big effect on what happens inside the courtroom.Join organizers of the SlutWalk NYC and other forces and individuals instanding unapologetic on Diallo’s side. All the evidence in this casecorroborates that she is a survivor and that DSK is using his power andwealth to get away with rape.
DSK: You Will Not Go Unchallenged!
Nafissatou Diallo, we are on your side!
